story-telling time. :)

Winter solstice festival used to be the festival that  I love the most every year. Why I like winter solstice? Reason being, I love to eat tang yuen. :D simple as that.

21.12.2012 - Winter solstice 2012. Many people discussed about the judgement day. Honestly, I feared that it would happen and I just decided to see if today passes 12.00 a.m. - we don't know what God has planned. 

Talking about winter solstice again. Mum said, tang yuen used to be smaller in size in the past - to be swallowed easily. I didn't know about this custom until my eldest sis got married in 2008. Mum asked us to make tang yuen in smaller size on that day and she explained the reason - swallow in whole as a symbol of unity. The bride was forbidden to chew tang yuen and had to swallow them in whole. 

Childhood memory

When I was just a little girl, mum said this to me, " the number of tang yuen you should take should be the same as the number of your age.'' That caused me hated myself for being so young and took only 7-8 tang yuen those days. I wondered why I just obeyed, when others just took it as a joke and got themselves a whole bowl full of tang yuen. I remembered I looked at them enviously. Looking back those memories,what remained - the good ones that marked your childhood. :)

Result release day

Result released today... couldn't reach what I aimed for...for Chemistry.

Yup, this battle ain't over for me... it's still hard for me to accept the result. Mum and sis dragged me to shop at One Utama today... trying not to let me feel so down.Thank you la :)

I saw this soft toy today, and this is my first time ever, buying a soft toy of my own choice.It's so cute... thanks mum and sis ^^

I'll be alright la...

Morning

on our way to Legoland, by taxi.

   so we reached our destination J

headed off to Oldtown White Coffee

 Unfortunately, we left after about 25 minutes, as most of the food wasn't available.

We went to a bakery and bought some breads as breakfast instead.

yippie, so off we went to Legoland. :)

look clearly, people were actually queuing up just to enter! =="

can see that many people brought their umbrellas. hmm

finally inside :D

hmm, just  excuse me,
I've this thing about snapping pics of lamps.

 Alrighty, 1^st game station that we went to : some sort of fire-rescuing academy ^^”

1st: Police car and Fire Brigade cars loaded with firemen,
(hmm, us. )

  We’re supposed to exert force to the level in order to move the car. O.O”

so when the cars reached,
firemen rushed down the car to rescue the fire.

                    some have to aim the water at the target to put off the "fire".

As the rain was pouring, we cancelled our initial plan to ride on roller coaster, and went for the tower view instead. :O

Fortunately, the rain stopped pouring and we rushed off to have a ride on roller coasters. :D

Yup…most of the pictures were taken in the rain. Yeah, walking in the rain. something that I've been wanting to do. Walk like a happy child in the rain, ignoring what others think about you.:D
